Drawing on disparate musical and literary influences from Sun Records in the 1950's to the writing of Edgar Allan Poe, passion and an embrace of darkness both literal and figurative are the common threads running through songwriter, producer and frontman Nick 13's latestcreation, Tiger Army II: Power of Moonlite. Aided by longtime friend Geoff Kresge (ex-AFI) on stand-up bass and London May on drums, the latest album is already hailed by many as besting their well-received debut; it further refines and expands the Tiger Army sound -- inspired by the fury of punk, the wild energy of 1950's rockabilly and the band's unique take on the underground psychobilly of Europe.
