North Mississippi Allstars is een southern rockformatie onder leiding van Black Crowes gitarist Luther Dickinson. De band heeft al vele Grammy-nominaties op zak en is daarnaast bekend vanwege hun vele samenwerkingen. Robert Plant, zanger van Led Zeppelin, nodigde Dickinson en zijn bandleden bijvoorbeeld uit voor een tour door Amerika, net als John Hiatt. De stomende countryblues en virtuoze bluesrock van Mississippi Allstars komt vooral tijdens een live show goed tot zijn recht.
