Kings of the Day won in 2007 de Grote Prijs van Nederland en bracht een EP uit. Vervolgens stond de band in het voorprogramma van bands als Wombats en Moke.
In 2009 won Kings of Day 'Nu of Nooit'. Hiermee is het de openingsact op Pinkpop 2009.
