THE WALKMEN is an indie rock band from New York who was formed in 2000 following the breakup of two separate bands: Jonathan Fire*Eater and The Recoys. They are heavily influenced by the likes of U2, Bruce Springsteen, the Cure, the Smiths, and New Order, and have a big love for the sound of vintage musical instruments, particularly the upright piano. More than 10 years in the business and having made 7 albums (latest one "Heaven" came out in May 2012), they're finally back in Belgium for a club show.
