During the shooting of the short film "Bach and bouzouki" in the beginning of 2006 in Munich, some of the participants of the film meet each other and they share a common passion: the rebetiko. They unite and play with great success at many events in Muünchen. The band "Ta Mourmourakia" was formed.
In 2007, musical performances follow in Cologne, Frankfurt, Athens, Patras, Larissa, Crete and on the island of Symi.
