Awakening Sun is an international 4 piece modern death metal band from Lithuania and The Netherlands. Founded in the middle of 2011 by Ernestas Skripkiūnas (vocalist, main composer, lead guitarist). In this time the band already played 170 shows all over Europe. Their 3rd album, which is called ‘Into The Light’ will be released soon.
Captivity came into being during the spring of 2012 and started as a collaboration between guitarists Joeri Doeleman en Jens van de Haterd. Their goal was to make heavy, no-nonsense groovemetal and to make it as far as possible in the metalscene. With vocalist Richard Donné, bassplayer Mees Tiebosch, and drummer Mathijs Schmidt joining the band became a full force, ready to damage your hearing!
