Opwindende indierock uit Glasgow. Frightened Rabbit werd in 2004 opgericht in Glasgow door zanger Scott Hutchison. De band maakt opwindende indierock in het straatje van We Were Promised Jetpacks, The Twilight Sad en The Vaselines. Dit jaar kwam de vijfde langspeler uit van het vijftal, Painting Of A Panic Attack’ welke geproduceerd is door Aaron Dessner van The National. Meer dan ooit is de band voor dit album bezig geweest met het songwriten: “To me, lyrically, this album is a step above anything he’s written before,” aldus de producer over Hutchison. Ook de pers was het daar meer eens, getuige onder andere de reviews op The Line Of Best Fit ("'Painting of a Panic Attack' arrives to remind why they are such a special band") en All Music ("It's by far the most immediate and inclusive collection of songs that the band has laid to tape to date.").
