Master was formed in Chicago, USA in 1983 as the band Warcry fell apart. Master is one of the earliest death metal bands along with other legends like Possessed, Necrophagia, Death and Morbid Angel, however they are quite often overlooked. The debut album Master from 1990 is a classic, like their second album from 1991: On the Seventh Day God Created ... Master. The new album Slaves to Society, released in May 2007, gets very close to these old classics. Current line up is originator Paul Speckmann on bass and vocals; Alex Nejezchleba lead and rythem guitars; Zdenek Pradlovsky drums.
