The Tunes:
Folk ‘n’ roll is a mixture of Folk and Rock ‘n’ roll, but The Tunes make is sound like a party. The roof came down in the Sugar Factory where they won the semi finals. And with a crippled drummer and with their concertina player missing during the finals in the Melkweg last December, every body hold their silence: could they pull that stunt again? Well, even better. They won!
The lyrics of The Tunes are not that profound concerning snacks, religion, the rich and famous, love … 3voor12/Noord-Holland called them the “promising band of 2008” and they were “Hollandse Nieuwe” as well. You don’t wanna dance and have a good time? You better stay away from The Tunes.
