20 years ago, some dudes in the desert started a band called Yawning Man with a unique sound, which was never heard before. Mario Lalli on bass and vocals, Gary Arce on the guitar and mastermind Alfredo Hernandez on the drums founded a scene nowadays known and classified as "Stoner Rock". They were the influence for bands like Kyuss, Fu Manchu. They were the godfathers and mothers of the desert rock genre!
